Beans - 100gms, carrot-2,Potato- 2,onion-1/4 kgs, tomato-1/4kgs, ginger - 1 small piece, garlic - 3 pieces (if needed), cocunut -1/2, green chillies-5
Cut the vegetables into small pieces and boil it till half cooked. Put the pan, pour oil and add ginger and garlic paste to it. Then fry the finely cut onions to brown and add the cut tomatoes. Meanwhile grind the cocunut and green chillies. Also grind the sesame and patti (if necessary). After frying the onion and the tomatoes nicely, add all the cooked vegetables, add the cocunut, chilli paste. Allow it boil nicely. You have a very tasty kurma which you can use it as a side dish for chappati or puri

Hi Jayalakshmi,
Yum yum! really nice of you to share this simple yet mouth-watering recipe. Pls let me know if I can sustitute coconut with something else without losing the delicious flavor of this dish. Thanx.
