Theere is some editing going on at this site. How are people to be warned about problems when concerns are removed. I have had no responses from Raghu, despite paying for lessons. Now I see his name is removed from the site but Sridhar is Raghu's student and his offer to teach Carnatic flute online is exactly how I got into problems with paying for lessons and having no response from Raghu once money was sent. Be careful.

To whomever runs this site: I am concerned that the first response is from Sridhar, at the same email location as Raghu. I am asking for Sridhar and Raghu to talk and provide me with the lessons I paid for. Raghu begged me to send money so he and his students could keep operating. The money was not a grant but in payment for lessons. Please be careful with what stands as advertizing on your site if claims are not honored

Dear Sir,
My concern is that if you site has any connection with Raghu or Sridhar, then I have severe reservations about the trustworthiness of the site. As you know, these musicians offered lessons and we agreed on payment, then nothing followed. When I get a chance to review your introductory lessons I will let you know. If you have a way to contact Raghu or Sridhar, please let me know because we have unfinished business. Several other people have had similar complaints about Raghu so until he honors his agreement with me, I want to warn people about the problems with online lessons. Do you know someone who sells Carnatic flutes? Several of the ones Raghu made me were inferior or where broken. Sincerely

For those of you interested in Bansuri, Jeff Whittier has a book and video entitled Playing the Bansuri, available thru www.shakuhachi.com
I have found videos a good way to learn while the book provides the music and commentary on the Ragas. Mr Whittier also makes very nice instruments and was very dependable.
